For Parents
Lunch Time Launch It is an interactive activity delivered within schools across NSW designed to introduce the benefits of golf to students throughout years K to 12.
Why Golf For Your Child?
Age: Kids aged 6 to 9 have basic motor skills but have fewer complex motor skills. As a child matures, golf is ideal for developing this motor complexity.
Personal interest: Is your child drawn to Golf?
Temperament: Playing golf assists children in developing social skills, personal responsibility and the ability to overcome challenges by themselves.
Physical traits: You don’t have to be the strongest, fastest or tallest to play golf; in fact, golf is a sport that caters for people of all abilities.
Schedule: You don’t need a formal competition or a team of others to play golf. You can play by yourself, or with a group if you wish. Golf is a game that can be played seven days a week.
